Greetings to everyone from Tebbets, Mo., a surprisingly delightful stop on the historic Katy Rail Trail. (BTW, this is the very first uploading and posting that I've done on this blog by myself! And it only took a couple of hours. Lucky that today is actually a rain day that we are spending in Newton, Illinois. But more on that in the next posting...)

Countdown to Send Off


Charlie’s Cross Country Bike Ride
for Hunger Relief


The Rev. Charlie Ortman, Pastor at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair is taking his wheels on the road to raise consciousness about the hungry among us. Charlie will travel
3,021 miles from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean -
Crossing 14 States in his journey.


He will be leaving California April 14th Arriving on the East Coast the 1st week of June. His trip is based on the route designed by "Race Across America."
